350 Modern Marketing Tips

Actionable insights spanning from the fundamentals all the way to the future

What if I want to
record a podcast? start a community? grow my personal brand? try direct mail? improve my SEO? leverage email marketing? market in the Metaverse? write better copy? grow on LinkedIn? try live streaming?
There’s a chapter on that

Dive into the section you need right away. Or read the entire book to create a marketing strategy that can only be described as amazing.

Part 1: Nail your strategy

Where to start? That depends on where you’re going. And that depends on having a solid strategy in place.

Part 2: Create purpose-driven content

Because you don’t have time to waste on content that flops. And it’s too easy these days to get lost in the noise.

Part 3: Make social media work for you

From on-platform success to demystifying digital ads. Social media isn’t like what it used to be.

Part 4: Reach the right people, the right way

Think it’s all about email marketing? Or word-of-mouth? Or SEO? It’s all those. And more.

Part 5: Harness the way of the future

The world of marketing is changing every day. From inclusive marketing to using AI, make sure you don’t get left behind.

I challenged my community friends to create insights, not just rehash information you can find in a blog post somewhere. They delivered. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or a small business owner trying to establish your first marketing strategy, get out your highlight marker. You’re going to find some new ideas here!

Flip to chapter 3 of The Most Amazing Marketing Book Ever and you’ll see our names

We wrote the chapter on marketing research. Our clients are often like “Really? Is all that research necessary?” Then they see the results and they’re like “Whoa. Amazing.” So we share our top 10 tips for you to get the same out of your marketing research. In the most cost-effective way possible.

By the way, the cover of the book? That’s Frank’s design. With some help from AI.

Frank and Marci
A creative explosion - the illustration from the cover of The Most Amazing Marketing Book Ever

Our marketing research chapter shares proven techniques we use for our own clients

(and other answers to questions you’re probably curious about)

How did you choose the 10 tips for your chapter, guys?

For our chapter on marketing research we focussed on proven techniques we use for our own clients. Techniques we wouldn’t want to create marketing without. We made sure our tips, tools, and strategies are easy to implement for any small business so there’s no barrier to entry.

How did you design the cover, Frank?

We wanted to explore whether we could use AI to design the cover, so the illustration was created with the help of an AI tool called Midjourney. Human input and creativity were equally important though, including the brief from the RISE community, Mark Schaefer’s experience with book covers, my design skills, and plenty of marketing research to discover what designs were resonating with our audience.

Have you met all of your co-authors?

We’ve met the lovely Mark Schaefer and the just as lovely Anna Bravington in person, but everyone else we only know through online spaces like Discord, Zoom, and the Metaverse. We’re connected to everyone through Mark’s RISE Community, where we get to chat about all things marketing, Web3, and AI.

We’re looking forward to meeting way more people at the authors’ launch party. (Another reason to join the waitlist, so you can get in on the events happening around that.)

Can I join Mark Schaefer’s RISE community?

It’s free and open to anyone interested in the future of marketing. Email us (hello@frankandmarci.com) and we’ll be happy to tell you how to join.

Who came up with the title The Most Amazing Marketing Book Ever?

That title came to life in one of the earliest author meetings, even before chapters were assigned or anyone had even written a word for the book.

Mark had just described the project to us… 36 authors from all over the world combining their expert knowledge to share immediately actionable tips. Someone referred to it as “The Most Amazing Marketing Book Ever”. The title stuck. And that’s how it got its name.

Where can I get the book?

The Most Amazing Marketing Book Ever is out now on Amazon.

Will there be an audiobook version?

Yes! Read to you by all 36 authors. Coming soon to Audible.
